About Us

We are a consortium of institutes consisting of: University of Cambridge, University of Exeter, Geneva University, Institute of Astrophyics of the Canaries, The Netherlands Research School for Astronomy, Uppsala University, Flatiron Institute, Princeton University, Queen's University Belfast, University of Oxford and University of Warwick.

We aim to build and commission a close-copy of the HARPS spectrograph to be installed on an upgraded Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) in La Palma. With the INT upgraded to robotic operations a new mode of observing will come online enabling optimised flexible scheduling. This will enable our own Terra Hunting Experiment, which requires nightly sampling of our targets, but also offer opportunity for any other time sensitive studies or time-series measurements which require a specific sampling rate or any other programme that would benefit from a flexible or non-traditional allocation of observing time.
